Recruitment and talent management are tasks every growing company will need to tackle at some point. As a HR Manager these tasks can take up a great deal of your very valuable time. Research from Robert Half UK reveals that HR directors are spending on average 28 days recruiting for each open vacancy. The hiring process is now longer than it was three years ago. The main reasons come from that HR Directors are struggling to find qualified candidates (59%) whilst the increase in the number of CVs per vacancy has increased (52%). Unfortunately the research also indicates that 54% of HR directors have lost a qualified candidate to another opportunity because their in-house hiring process was too lengthy. How can HR streamline their activities in order to save time and avoid losing valuable candidates? In this blog we look at Dynamics 365 for Talent and how its features can help HR Managers and Directors complete their day-to-day tasks in a timely manner.
Dynamics 365 for Talent – Drive operational excellence and measure business impact with integrated intelligence
HR Managers are in need of a solution that helps them hire the right people in a timely manner and speeds up their time to impact, whilst aligning with the overall business objectives. Dynamics 365 for Talent is a solution which innovates the employee and recruitment journey using everyday tools.
LinkedIn integration – modernising and maximising the HR function for recruitment
Last year, Microsoft bought the social platform LinkedIn which today has over 500 million registered users. People use the service both to make work connections with other people in their fields, but also to look for jobs and hire people. It was with these interactions in mind that Microsoft developed Talent Manager. Talent Manager brings together the applications you are already using; Dynamics 365, Office 365 and LinkedIn. The new tool provides the ability for HR to source, recruit and on-board employees while taking advantage of the data provided in LinkedIn.
With Dynamics 365 for Talent you can access candidate profiles, quickly, using LinkedIn Recruiter integrations to give you the most up-to-date information on your talent pool. With Dynamics 365 Talent Manager you can easily filter through applicants to see just those who best meet your specified criteria and those who are “open to new opportunities.”
After reviewing an application, you can schedule an interview with the candidate and all interviewers using Office 365 integration to see free time in their calendars. Interviewers confirm or decline interview times and the schedule can be sent to the candidate. Following the interview, feedback can be sent to HR directly from the mobile application in order to speed up the recruitment process.
On-boarding – manage and nurture your most valuable resource
If a candidate is successful the HR manager can send them personalised on-boarding material so that they can hit the ground running on their first day, with targeted activities, relevant contacts and learning resources.
What is your next step to improving talent management?
Employees are the heart of every company, and talent is without question the most scarce and expensive resource.
From sourcing and recruiting, to on-boarding and retention, Dynamics 365 for Talent provides a 360-degree view of your workforce with modules that empower your organisation.
